Carson's Receives Large Order for Condado Resort

 To Provide Custom Upholstery for Elegant San Juan Property

 Carson's Hospitality, a leading manufacturer of custom upholstery and metal furnishings for the hospitality market, has been selected as the primary manufacturer of guest room and public area seating for the renovation of the Condado Plaza Hotel, a AAA four-diamond resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Condado is a Luxury Hotels and Resorts (LXR) property. The interior renovation, designed by Leo Daly in Dallas, TX and purchased by GS Associates in Newburyport, MA, boasts of an upscale, clean, contemporary look. Many of the custom furniture designs for the project involve the blending of metal and upholstery. Carson's position as a resource for both custom upholstery and metal furnishings placed it in a strong competitive position for the vendor evaluation. The scope of the project for Carson's includes custom upholstery for both guest rooms and public areas. In total, Carsons will manufacture over 400 pieces of upholstery and develop over 10 custom designs for the project. Installation will begin in the fall of 2006.
